Fading is caused by 40% UVA, 25% visible
light, 25% heat and 10% miscellaneous. 2. Natural fibers like silk
and wool are less fade resistant than synthetic fibers. 3. Antiques, tapestries,
rugs, etc use less stable dyes and will fade more
quickly. 4. Fluorescent dyes are
less color stable than other colors. 5. Clear glass will reject
some solar heat
Clear 1/S" glass will reject 13% Clear 1/4"

of solar heat 6. UVC is screened by the
ozone layer UVB is screened in degrees by glass UVA is
screened 99% by solar film. 7. Solar films will retard
fading, no film will stop it!
